Sisters pose for a photo before before tutoring children at Fletcher Maynard Academy

The Theta Lambda Chapter of Sigma Kappa was chartered on MIT's campus in 1988. For 21 years, our chapter has prided itself on its diversity and close-knit sisterhood. As members of Sigma Kappa, we consistently strive to enrich ourselves intellectually, socially, and culturally. We work to develop a unique sisterhood during our collegiate years and continue to nourish that bond as alumnae. Sigma Kappa brings sisterhood to life.

In this section, you can find more information about our chapter, including our chapter's history, housing, and academics. Check out our national philanthropies and read about the work our chapters does with them throughout the year. We also have a section that details most of our social events throughout the year that we all look forward to. You can also find a list of the chapter positions and sisters who fill them within our chapter. Finally, you can learn about the Sigma Kappa national organization and about the common bond we share with all the chapters across the nation.
